In the Studio

Steve and I have been busting it up in the studio. Creating an album is no small thing if ya want to get it right. I have been laying down the guitar tracks over the last couple of weeks. Steve has surpassed all expectations on his drums tracks. I think you are going to like this next CD. It really rocks. I want to tell you more, but I keep busting my balls to get these takes and keep running out of time to keep our sites up to date on the current affairs of Aliens Among Us. We got 10 rocking songs in the process and hope to release it fully around Christmas or the New Years. This is some of our best work yet. I don't think you disagree. The drums are louder and badder than ever! That's for sure. Lets say I will have outtake sometime in November for your enjoyment. I know I cannot wait. Can you?

Added History of Aliens Among Us

Aliens Among Us, the Rock Band was created by Steve Jones, Barry Osentoski and Brian Jones in Las Vegas in 1991. Previously they were called "An Alive Unknown", "Distraction", and "Secret Society". Like a bad penny they keep popping up. These three musicians meet during elementary school in Michigan's Evergreen Elementary School in the 1970's. They experimented with alcohol, smoking, girls, dungeons and dragons, computers, and general trouble making. Then one day it changed. Barry got a guitar. Barry picked up the instrument fast and was quite a natural musician. His father Larry Osentoski was performing drummer in local bands in the Michigan playing polkas, country and rock and roll as was typical of the area. The following summer, Steve and Brian got a pair of guitars. Brian stuck with the guitar, but Steve migrated to drums as his instrument of choice. Brian eventually picked up the bass and the rest is history. LOL, not quite yet anyway.

The three used to play "air" band to the radio, but eventually they started playing the music themselves as they learned cover songs. Although Brian began writing original music right away. The guys used to hold weekly concerts at the Jones's house and invite hundreds of fellow classmates for beer and other fun. During these endeavors Brian and Barry traded off singing where they could. The band started adding some of their original music into to sets and started working on new materials.

Barry eventually went to rehab to work out some issues and left school. Steve and Brian performed Ozzy's "Mr. Crowley" as two piece band with guest singer at a high school talent show.

One day while in high school after ... Click the link to read more....
